Welcome. We believe chores should be shared fairly. You’re here because you believe that too.

Let’s stop arguing about chores.

Share the Chores is a simple card game designed to divide household chores fairly between all members of a family or household. The cards are shuffled and dealt to distribute the responsibility for the chores equitably every week.

Shuffle, deal and share the chores. One card for each chore e.g. clean the bathroom or cook week day meals. Repeat the following week.

Importantly no screens for families aiming to reduce screen time. Real in-person engagement and discussion.

With colour coding for children’s chores. See in the About section.

Who’s it for?

Share the Chores cards are suitable for families, couples, flatmates, students and parents with teenagers. Backed by facts and research, we know that teenagers observing their fathers doing chores determines their perception of gender.

For Families: Gets your children helping around the house whilst also teaching them life skills and independence.

Share the Chores cards are used in homes and schools. Our school tool kits help to inform young people about the importance of gender equality in the home.

For Couples: No more arguing and fighting. Share the Chores cards make each of you accountable for your own chores.

Couples (married or co-habiting) can really benefit from Share the Chores cards. Often partners can feel resentment or argue over an unequal division of household labour. Share the Chores tackles the domestic labour imbalance through a fun format.

Benefits: There are tonnes of benefits to a gender fair approach to chores. More details in the About section.

We love our world.

We are working on making all aspects of our business as environmentally responsible as we can. Our cards are manufactured in a solar powered factory where they recycle most of the water. For more information see the About section.
